Creekshed: Ekphrastic Writing with the Archives
This extension of the Creekshed project is an environmental ekphrasis - a response, by poets and writers and other artists, to items archived in the USF Library collections. The Creekshed team reached out to eleven creators with ties to the Tampa Bay area who each committed to focusing on an archival object to prepare a response to the question: what are the human and natural stories that drain into Tampa Bay? The first round of the Creekshed ekphrasitic project launched April 22, 2025 (Earth Day).
Project made possible by the USF Campus Cooperation Grant.
