Abstract

As part of its campaign to get the Florida Legislature to choose Tampa as the site for a new university in 1956, the Tampa Chamber of Commerce created this ad. It urges "constructing another 4-year university near the center of Florida's most populous area" to deal with burgeoning college enrollment.
