Abstract

The Tampa Chamber of Commerce mounted a campaign to get the Florida Legislature to choose Tampa as the location for a new university in 1956. This map was part of the campaign, saying "Tampa is easily accessible" and giving population figures for areas 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 100 miles from Tampa.
