Abstract
Working in small groups, two preservice teachers and four fifth grade students developed text, images, and a video about a science topic. The products were assembled into an e-book and made available to parents and families through iTunes. Highlighting the work of one particular group who wrote about clouds, the authors explore the elements of collaborative composition and video production in which the students utilized graphic organizers and digital devices to compose, edit, and eventually upload their e-books to iTunes.
