Abstract
An interview with Catherine C. Marshall, adjunct professor of the Engineering Department of Texas A&M University, is presented. She reveals her inspiration in joining the field and describes her background in computer and information science. Marshall discusses the evolution of her personal information management (PIM) and how it will change hand-held devices. She also shares her view on the impact of social medial platforms and the people's dependence on them on their lives.
