The Grave Stele of Ktesilaos and Theano is a Late Classical Greek marble relief from Athens. It commemorates the burial of Ktesilaos and his wife Theano, and is one of the few surviving examples of a funerary stele depicting both spouses together. Funerary stelae in the Classical period were inscribed stone slabs placed over tomb as grave markers, often with reliefs showing the deceased, family members, or symbolic motifs. This example is notable for its dual representation, with both individuals depicted, reflecting the importance of honoring both spouses in Athenian funerary practices. This style is in alignment with the period's emphasis on naturalism, drapery, and refined facial features. The object is currently housed in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, Greece.
