Abstract

The Stulifera navis, or Ship of Fools, is a didactic satire that narrates the journey of 112 fools to the paradise of fools, "Narragonia."

Decoration

Woodblock (9 x 12) depicting the queen of fools underneath a tent surrounded by six men. Woodblock (2 x 12) with undulating vine motif.
