The Progress Village Elementary School was built in January 1957 as one of the first buildings in Progress Village. It has been an elementary, middle, and high school over the years. Now it is known as Progress Village Middle Magnet School of the Arts, the largest dance, theater, and culinary arts program for middle school students in Hillsborough County.
