Abstract
Several people standing around Delta Oceanographic's "Delta" submarine which is positioned near the stern (rear) area of the R/V [Research Vessel] Suncoaster. The "Delta" is a small, two person submarine which can be used for scientific research. The R/V [Research Vessel] Suncoaster was a scientific research ship which was operated out of St. Petersburg, Florida by the Florida Institute of Oceanography. The R/V Suncoaster is docked in a port and is flying an American flag and a Florida state flag from its mast. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) logo is painted on the submarine with the word "Delta" painted below the logo. The submarine has two cables attached to it which are held up by the R/V Suncoaster's crane.
