Finding Aids and Research Guides for Manuscript and Special Collections
This collection serves as a permanent archive for finding aids and other guides created to assist researchers wishing to use materials in Special Collections and University Archives. Although portions of some collections may be available in a digital format, nearly all of the collections described in these finding aids and indexes must be viewed in person at Special Collections and University Archives. Guides are provided here, as well as in separate entries for notable collections on the department's webpage, as a convenience for researchers who wish to review the scope and contents of these materials before scheduling a visit.
If you have an interest in examining the contents of any collection found in this guide, please contact us. On those occasions where guides may become obsolete, or are updated or superseded, the special collections librarian will indicate which file contains the revised edition with most current information.
It is the intention of Digital Commons @ USF to comply with all U.S. and international copyright restrictions and to respect the intellectual property of all authors whose work is represented in the archive. If any individual or corporate entity has concerns about a specific item, please contact digitalcommons@usf.edu
