Abstract
"This exploratory study examined variables that may contribute to the stress of emergency workers following a disaster," in this case a midair collision of aircraft over the Grand Canyon. Data was "obtained from field interviews with disaster workers, standard paper-and-pencil tests of stress, and an experimental questionnaire designed to evaluate subjects for symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder."
