Abstract
"The stage Irishman is one of the dearest figures upon the American stage. He Is sometimes a rogue, but never a fool; a native shrewdness always saves him at the right time. The "Pat-and-Mike" jokes would fill many volumes; we can give here only the best of them; and other pleasant instances of Irish wit and humor."
