Abstract
These patches were from a United States soldier in World War II. The “A5” stands for the 5th Army unit. The ribbon found in the bottom central patch signifies the European-African-Middle Eastern campaign. The four stars on the ribbon denotes that this service member participated in four campaigns on this front.
