Description
BBRICS began as a coalition of five major emerging economies, including Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, and has since evolved into a growing power bloc, often referred to as BRICS+, with ambitions to reshape global governance. Led in part by China and Russia, the group is positioning itself as an alternative to Western institutions and the dominance of the U.S. dollar. As BRICS expands its global influence, its collective gold strategy offers a valuable lens through which to examine emerging shifts in economic and geopolitical power.
