Abstract
A cartoon in reference to world tensions during 1954. It references the signing of the London Agreement (also called the Nine Power Conference) that agreed to make efforts to end the occupation of Germany. It also references the dissolution of the Free Territory of Trieste under the responsibility of the United Nations with it split between Italy and Yugoslavia as part of the London Memorandum. Italy, Great Britain, West Germany, Belgium, Canada, France, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands all attended the Conference.
