Abstract
A cartoon depicting U.S. foreign aid. A turkey representing "American abundance" walks across the foreground while a world representing "Nations Receiving U.S. Aid" and a vulture representing the Soviet Union sit on a fence looking on. The Soviet vulture says "He's just an old fake. That's mostly feathers. Now you take me..."
Alt Text
A cartoon depicting a large, healthy turkey whose tail feathers read, "American abundance," being observed by a vulture with a hammer and sickle logo and an anthropomorphized globe with the label "Nations receiving U.S. aid." The Soviet vulture is trying to convince the Nations that the turkey is nothing but feathers with no real meat, but the Nations remain unconvinced, saying, "Looks pretty good to me."
