Abstract
In this interview, Keith Amos Bowen, a third generation Florida commercial fisherman, recalls how he spent his childhood fishing with his family, his experience with commercial fishing, and various fishing trips. Born in 1984 in Sebastian, Florida, Keith began clamming with his father in Port Saint John from a very early age. In his mid-twenties he bought his own boat and started commercial fishing from Destin all the way down to Palm Beach. Throughout the interview, Keith describes fishing techniques, equipment, popular fishing locations and the types of fish he usually targets. He also shares his opinion regarding the current fishing laws and the changes he has seen in the fishing industry.
