Abstract
Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, is profiled in this 1993 report. Rawlings may be best remembered as the author of the books, The Yearling and Cross Creek. The report includes a visit to her former home near Gainesville, Florida, and interviews with Anne E. Rowe, author of the book, The Idea of Florida in the American Literary Imagination, and Sally Morrison of the Florida Park Service.
