Dear Papa:
It is 2 am I haven’t slept any yet. Reveille is to sound at 3.00A.M., so I won’t go to sleep at all tonight. We break camp at 4.15A.M. and go to Port Tampa to embark. I am feeling O.K. Box fine. Bread-Beef Butter- Cherries Dates. All O.K. We’re eating now. Jim (Lerman, Fred Austin, Harry Barstow and I,--they made cocoa.
Well, I’ll have to sleep now. Goodbye.
