Abstract
Oil pollution in or near coastal areas of Pinellas County, Florida. A collision between two barges and a freighter in 1993 caused oil to spill into Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and local waterways.
Alt Text
A tangled network of mangrove tree roots extending into shallow water, with green foliage visible above. A yellow and black measuring tool sitting on the roots. The scene is bathed in natural light filtering through the surrounding vegetation.
