Abstract
Oil pollution in or near coastal areas of Pinellas County, Florida. A collision between two barges and a freighter in 1993 caused oil to spill into Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and local waterways.
Alt Text
A beach with a line of dark oily liquid and debris along the shoreline, people walking in the distance under a partly cloudy sky. The sand shows tire tracks leading to the water's edge. There are three shovels stuck upright in the sand and there are buildings in the far background along the shore.
