Abstract
Oil pollution in or near coastal areas of Pinellas County, Florida. A collision between two barges and a freighter in 1993 caused oil to spill into Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and local waterways.
Alt Text
A long pier extends into the ocean from a sandy beach, with yellow buoys floating in the water nearby creating a barrier. There are small structures visible on the shore. The scene is viewed from above, showing the contrast between the blue sea and the light-colored shore.
