Abstract
Drawing that shows how Sudan's military and the Janjaweed militia bombed houses and set them on fire in Darfur. Also depicts how civilians trying to hide were shot and how a few villagers with guns tried to fight back but were easily overpowered.

A child's illustration on worn, white paper and done mostly in blue pen of a small village with many things occurring at the same time. In front of two houses are four people exchanging gunfire and a woman walking toward a child with her arm outstretched. Also seen are depictions of military personnel, equipment, and vehicles, including armored trucks with mounted guns, tanks, helicopters, and armed men on horseback and on foot.
