Abstract
Drawing that depicts the Janjaweed, an Arabized Muslim militia group, fighting with Masalit villagers, dark skinned Muslims living in the Darfur region of Sudan.
Alt Text
A child's pencil illustration on graph paper of multiple armed figures, one of whom is on foot while the another rides a horse. Surrounding them are sketches of jets and a tank. The bottom of the page shows a drawing of a person with a machine gun firing on a line of houses, which the young artist has almost completely obscured by scribbling over the homes with pencil and red crayon, likely to emphasize the level of violence witnessed.
