Abstract
Drawing of the government of Sudan in conjunction with the Janjaweed militia using the scorched earth policy to attack villages in the Darfur region of Sudan. Trucks mounted with machine guns, helicopters, gunships, and infantry men wielding machine guns were used to shoot at unarmed Darfuri civilians including destroying their homes.

A child's pencil drawing on graph paper of armed figures and vehicles attacking other human figures who are unarmed. A helicopter is seen flying overhead and dropping ordinance on people and their houses while a truck full of armed personnel approaches from the right. Depictions of a tank and a truck with a mounted machine gun are also seen, as is a figure on foot holding an assault rifle up to a woman who is facing the opposite direction.
