Abstract
Drawing that depicts villagers in Darfur being attacked by Janjaweed militia and military helicopters. Houses are set on fire by the militia group and civilians are shot and killed. Some civilians are shown attempting unsuccessfully to fight back.

A child's pencil drawing colored in with crayons on white paper depicting a full-blown attack on a rural village. Houses are seen burning in the background, while armed individuals on foot, in trucks, and riding camels fire at the residents of the village who are trying to escape. An elderly person with a cane lies on the ground injured next to another villager who has picked up a gun and is attempting to repel the invaders.
