Abstract

Drawing that depicts houses in a village in Darfur burning after they have been set on fire by Sudan's military. Also depicts civilians being shot by soldiers.

A child's drawing on white paper using pencil and crayons that depicts an attack on a small village and the people who live there. Armed soldiers on foot and riding in trucks with mounted machine guns fire into the village, killing several people and setting fire to the roofs of the houses. In the center of the drawing are two human figures in blue who are armed with a bow and arrow and spears, possibly indicating an attempt to fight back against the attackers.
