Abstract
Drawing that depicts the Janjaweed militia shooting and killing civilians while Sudan's military helicopter bombed villages in Darfur.
Alt Text
A child's pencil and crayon drawing on a worn sheet of white paper that depicts several people under attack by armed assailants. The largest human figure is a man with a cane, implying he is elderly, being shot in the back by a man with a machine gun who wears camouflage. An armed person on a camel fires down at a woman lying on the ground, red crayon marks coming from a wound in her neck, while two other attackers appear to be slitting the throats of two other people who are lying on the ground. Included in the chaos are illustrations of two houses and a tree, and a military helicopter flying overhead.
