Abstract
Drawing of houses in a village in Darfur burning after being bombed by Sudan's military helicopter gunships. The only building spared was a mosque. Also shown are armed Janjaweed militia riding into the village and shooting civilians.

A child's drawing in pencil and red and blue pens that depicts a village on fire with three helicopters flying above it. A person lies dead at the doorway of one of the buildings while another runs through the fire with their arms raised. The only building that is not on fire is a small mosque with two villagers standing outside of it. Armed men on horseback and in trucks are approaching the village from a road.
