Drawing that depicts Darfuri villagers fighting with spears against the Sudanese military and Janjaweed militia who are armed with machine guns.
Alt Text
A child's drawing on white paper of men wearing blue camouflage uniforms attacking a village, represented by several people and three small huts. Some of the assailants are riding camels or horses while others are on foot, but all are firing their weapons at the villagers who are trying to flee. One soldier shoots his gun into one of the houses, lighting it on fire, while two others shoot down villagers wielding spears in front of the homes. One villager is depicted with a spear having been stabbed through his neck, with red crayon marks representing blood seen flowing down his back.
