Abstract

Drawing that depicts houses in a Darfuri village up in flames after being bombed by Sudanese military airplanes. Also shows civilians fleeing from the village while soldiers shoot at them from an airplane.

A child's drawing on graph paper of three people fleeing from multiple burning buildings as an airplane and a helicopter fly overhead, dropping ordinance. The artist used very strong lines of black and orange crayons intermixed with each other to create the appearance of fire and smoke.
