Abstract

Drawing that depicts a scene of carnage in Darfur. The entire drawing is shaded in red and shows homes burning, dead bodies, and gunfire and shells.

A child's graphic illustration of an attack on a village by multiple figures in large trucks with mounted guns. An airplane dropping something from overhead and a few people on horseback are also visible. The entire scene has been colored over in red, in some places darker than others, to emphasize the violent nature of the scene. Arabic handwriting at the top of the paper offers a prayer.
