Abstract
Villages in Darfur were first besieged and then attacked by gun wielding militia men. They ended up killing many civilians and wounding so many villagers. In order to destroy the villagers' livelihood, these militia men burnt their houses and all their belonging that were inside.
Alt Text
A child's pencil drawing with color details in crayon and red pen on white paper that depicts a small village and its residents surrounded on all sides by individuals armed with machine guns who are firing at them. While most of the gunmen are on foot, one is on horseback, as are two villagers who are trying to escape. Markings in red pen on the roofs of the village houses and on the bodies of some of the villagers indicate fire and bloody wounds, respectively.
