Abstract
Many villages in Darfur were torched by government sponsored militia groups and the military that used its aircraft to bomb villages. Many people were massacred including the elderly.
Alt Text
A child's sketch in pencil and colored pencil on graph paper of military aircraft dropping something, represented by multiple red lines underneath them, onto a row of small houses below. Red lines colored onto the roofs of the houses indicate that they are all on fire from the ordinance dropped by the helicopter, airplane, and jet overhead. Two people armed with machine guns that are on foot are also seen shooting at the houses and some of the residents, including an old man with a cane.
