Abstract
Letter from a commission appointed to investigate and report on the Moral and Material responsibilities of individuals who have been asked to leave the society and have been unable to rejoin the Circulo Cubano for ten years. The commission concludes that some of these individuals were unable to cooperate with the club’s bylaws due to economic situations or ignorance, rather than malice, and recommends that a charity commission be established to investigate and determine the eligibility of these individuals to rejoin the society, emphasizing that the ten-year punishment has been sufficient. The letter is signed by Emilio Diaz, Andres Chacon, and Joaquin Rubio on behalf of the commission.
