    Two Cartas. The first, dated January 3, 1928, is a request from Sergio Sotolongo Valdes, a member and student of the Círculo Cubano to the Director of "La Traducción." Sergio is asking for free personal and commercial education, as allowed by Article 141 of the old regulations. He also requests the same benefit for his sister, Delia Sotolongo, who is eligible as a family member. The second Carta, dated April 22, 1928, addresses the director of "La Traducción" newspaper and expresses concern regarding certain inaccurate statements made in an article about Miss Mariblanca Sabás Alomá. The Sección de Instrucción of the Círculo Cubano, motivated by the desire to host a series of lectures by Miss Alomá, clarifies their intention to provide a platform for her without any ulterior motives or political agenda. They emphasize their support for her talents, culture, and loyalty to the government, and extend a warm welcome to her, emphasizing their commitment to promoting Cuban culture and solidarity.
