Abstract
Jack DeWitt was a captain in the 14th Armored Division, which liberated Mühldorf, a sub-camp of Dachau; Stalag VII A, a prisoner of war camp; and several other camps in April 1945. In this interview, DeWitt discusses liberating the camps, describing the condition of the prisoners. The division is credited with liberating numerous camps; this interview focuses on Muhldorf and Stalag VII A.
