Abstract
Data were produced to evaluate fish eye lenses as passive recorders of the stable-isotope histories of fish. Stable-isotope variation was compared (1) among different coarse sections of lenses, (2) at high resolution using individual lens laminae, (3) between left and right eyes, and (4) within individual laminae.
