Abstract
We report concentrations of the bacterial membrane lipids bacteriohopanetetrol and bacteriohopanetetrol II in a sediment core collected in the southern Gulf of Mexico in August 2015.
Purpose
Bacteriohopanepolyols were measured to assess bacterial community composition in seafloor sediments potentially impacted by oil.
Keywords
