Abstract
Jets generated under ambient conditions are analyzed with the Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) to study the flow behavior of the entrained fluid and/or the velocity profile and turbulence in jets. This dataset contains the recorded and/or edited PIV pictures.
Purpose
These experiments have been done to determine the liquid center velocity and turbulence in jets.
