Abstract
This report by the Center for Economic Development Research at USF analyzes the clustering and economic impact of the medical products industry in Tampa Bay and Florida. It identifies the industry segments, assesses baseline contributions in terms of output and employment, and estimates the overall economic contributions, highlighting the significance of the medical devices, biotech, and pharmaceutical segments in the region’s economy.
