Abstract

The Studio@620 invites you to “Image Maker Amateur Film Festival," a project initiated by USF Graduate Studies Intern Jon Faiell. After weeks of accepting and reviewing submissions, our panel of judges have fine tuned their selections and will present awards to winners during the screening of the highest ranking films on Friday May 14, 2010. Image Maker is a festival for new and fresh visions from amateur image-makers who have previously used venues such as You Tube, Facebook and other interactive sites as outlets for expression. The emphasis of this festival is to highlight emerging film makers who are not presently working as professionals within the film industry.
