Abstract
Thru a combination of archival photographs and new original portraits by photographer Boyzell Hosey, the images comprising this exhibit showcase the people who shared their stories about the Black maids from the 1930's through the 1990's and the White families that employed them. The photos speak volumes about how day work has impacted our history-across generations and ethnicities. Attend the Opening Reception on March 13th to meet some of the local storytellers and enjoy a staged reading from "Decades of Day Work."
