Abstract
Series Launch —August 2018 The Studio@620 begins a thirteen month exploration of all things Art & Architecture! Join us for these kick-off events: "The Art of Architecture", a juried exhibition reflecting the creative aspects of man-made structures. Multiple artists will be represented across a range of media. Opening Reception Saturday August 11, 2018 / 5–9 PM Closing Reception and Artists’ Talk Saturday August 25, 2018 / 6–9 PM, Talk begins at 7 PM Additional gallery hours by appointment. Admission is free and open to the public. “A Conversation on Arts and Architecture”Studio@620 Artistic Director Bob Devin Jones will moderate a panel discussion concerning how the built environment informs the way we live in the past, present and future. Participants will include former St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker, noted historian Ray Arsanualt and professional representatives from the artistic and architectural communities.
