Abstract

A one-act operatic comedy consisting of song and prose. The play follows a woman named Clara who desires passion from her husband Ruperto, even if it comes in the form of jealousy.
First debuted at Martin Theater on February 16, 1889. Performed in Tampa on April 8, 1915.
