Abstract

This publication is the executive summary of the Florida Keys Coastal Zone Management Study conducted by the Florida Coastal Coordinating Council during 1973 and 1974. It is a consideration of the major findings and recommendations contained in the full report and provides an overview of the basic biophysical, socio-economic, environmental quality, planning and management factors that must be reckoned with if rational management of public resources in the Keys is to become a reality.
