Abstract

Built in 1905, this was originally U-shaped in plan. The addition toward the east is in keeping with the rest. Four Corinthian, 3-story high columns in antis stand in the shallow portico, which has full-width stairs raised to the basement's half-story. The antae themselves are in rusticated stone, as is the first story. The second and third stories are in brick, bounded by a prominent water table and entablature with balustrade. The building is eclectic in style, but with a Renaissance emphasis. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This is a view of the west facade.
