Abstract
These houses, located on 22nd Street just north of Interstate 4, are further examples of workers' houses in Tampa. Unlike the ones on 19th Street, these have not been restored. They have a gabled porch roof of a lesser pitch than the main roof, leaving room for an attic vent. The brick piers, step cheeks, and stubby columns with base and capital indicate a later date than the houses on 19th Street, and possibly the influence of the bungalow style. Note the narrowness of the spaces between the houses.
