Abstract

Built in 1901, the house has been considerably altered through the years. But the original desgn elements are still there: Giant paired, unfluted, Ionian columns; cornices with dentils; pediment with oval window; sidelights and fanlight in the main entrance, and above it on the second story, a Palladian window. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building is now The Centre for Women. The facade makes the spelling "Centre" more appropriate than "Center." Title supplied by cataloger. Description supplied by Sape A. Zylstra.
