Abstract
Built in 1901, the house has been considerably altered through the years. But the original design elements are still there: Giant paired, unfluted, Ionian columns; cornices with dentils; pediment with oval window; sidelights and fanlight in the main entrance, and above it on the second story, a Palladian window. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building is now The Centre for Women. The facade makes the spelling "Centre" more appropriate than "Center."
